Brightech is a direct to consumer interior lighting brand located in Los Angeles. We currently sell floor and table lamps and outdoor string lights. We are looking for a rockstar Social Media Marketing Consultant.

You are constantly on social media and always know what’s trending. You are a pop culture junkie. You understand millennial/gen z culture and know these brands and who their customer is.

Role:
The Social Media Marketing Consultant will be responsible for managing and executing Brightech’s social media program. The primary responsibility of the job will be to build and engage Brightech’s connection with our consumers via all our online platforms - Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. The social media marketing consultant will be responsible for the posting, monitoring, and engagement of customers across multiple channels, as well as providing detailed reports on growth. The role requires strategic planning and execution of our social media strategy and brand objectives, as well as the ability to come up with creative content on a consistent basis.

What you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the brand’s social media presence, including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.
Be able to create video content.

Social Strategy and Content Creation:
  • Executing the branded social media strategy.
  • Developing and executing a monthly content calendar for all social media accounts that tell the brand story in our aesthetic and voice.
  • Leveraging trending moments regularly to drive audience growth, brand moments, and to keep us top of mind.
  • Identifying key influencers.
  • Ability to create and edit various media whether it be videos, gifs, etc.
  • Proactively pitching new ideas and always being on the lookout for high potential opportunities.
Copywriting and Brand Voice:
  • Owning all copywriting for all social media and assisting with other marketing copy as needed.
Community Engagement:
  • Growing a community through engagement daily.
  • Managing and responding to user feedback.
  • Ensuring all questions, comments, and related opportunities are executed.
  • Curating user-generated content to support brand and other brand initiatives.
  • Understanding who the key influencers are and getting collaborations.
  • Strategize and implementing new ways to grow engagements and following.
Reporting and Insights:
  • Providing weekly/monthly reporting on various social media metrics such as growth, engagement, conversation, amplification, and leads across owned channels.
  • Always staying ahead of social trends.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years’ experience creating and managing social-first content.
  • Excellent copywriting skills. Must have compelling storytelling abilities and passion for creating content.
  • Content Creation: 3 year (Required)
  • Instagram: 3 year (Required)
  • Previous PR Experience a plus
  • Must be engaged/knowledgeable/active on all aforementioned social media platforms.
  • Must know all the key players in the space.
  • Current relationships with influencers a plus
  • Must be up to date on all things pop culture, lifestyle, fashion, interior design, influencer, social issues, and millennial/gen z culture.
  • Must be hard working, detail oriented, team player.
  • Graphic Design/Video Editing experience highly valued.
  • Any fashion, direct to consumer experience highly valued.
  • Must be able to provide links to accounts you’ve managed.
  • Must be able to create Reels and TikTok Videos
