Great looking and met my expectations. Really easy to assemble - took less than 10 minutes. Sturdy materials. Light bulb is included and gives off good soft white light.
I have another lamp and love it but will the lamp work in Europe/UK? I was going to send a friend one.
Overall, the Carter Floor Lamp has a great modern look. However, a major design flaw is the the design of what holds the shade in place(light socket?). The majority of this structure is visible below the lamp shape. The official pictures from the website so not show this (which is misleading). It reallly takes away from the lamp and other comparable lamps are designed with this structure hidden (usually at the top of the shade).

Well-priced floor lamp and surprisingly well-constructed, but not bright enough to light a small to medium-sized room. Also, unfortunately, we found the lamp far larger/bulkier than we prefer. Returned.
This is a great, sturdy floor lamp. It's taller than most, but in a good way and a cinch to assemble, It comes with Velcro for lampshade set up- intelligent. My gripe is the lampshade design. It looks cheap and the lampshade isn't long enough to cover the light socket so I'll need to upgrade to a better one in future

Great floor lamp which was fine to assemble.I was impressed that it was as handsome looking and so easy to assemble exactly as detailed in the advert.
It was surprising how effortless it was to assemble. A charming appearance and I have ordered two more to put in my living room.
