Customers love to share how they've worked Brightech pieces into their homes. Here are some of our favorite real-world setups.
Arden's body is genuine marble, about three quarters of the lamp by weight: white marble on the Brass version and white marble with bold gray veining on the Nickel version. The metal band at the bottom and the socket area come in a polished brass or polished nickel finish, and the shade is white fabric: a smooth drum shade on the Brass version and a pleated shade on the Nickel version.
Yes. A charging port is built into the metal band at the bottom of the marble base, so you can charge a phone overnight on a nightstand, and it works whether the lamp is switched on or off. It is a USB-A port on the Brass version and a USB-C port on the Nickel version.
Not on its own. Arden has an on/off turn switch at the socket under the shade. For dimming, fit a dimmable smart bulb, which the lamp supports.
No. The open drum shade sends light up toward the ceiling and down onto the table, with a soft glow through the fabric sides, which suits reading in bed and general bedside light.
Yes, a 9 watt LED bulb is included, giving 800 lumens of 3000K light. It is a standard A19 bulb with a standard E26 base, so replacements are easy to find.
Arden comes in two versions: Brass, with white marble and a smooth white drum shade, and Nickel, with gray-veined marble and a white pleated shade. For another marble lamp with a charging port, see the Aspen USB Table Lamp, and for a marble lamp with a glowing globe instead of a shade, the Mila Table Lamp.
Arden is a modern classic: a solid marble column, a metal accent band and a clean fabric shade. It suits nightstands, desks, entry consoles and living room end tables, and the charging port makes it most useful bedside.
Arden is about 17 inches tall, about the height of a paper grocery bag. The shade is about 12 inches across and 7 inches tall, and the marble base is about 4.5 inches wide, so it fits a standard nightstand. At about 8 pounds, the marble gives it a solid, steady feel, and its clear cord is about 5 feet long.
No, Arden is not oversized. The Brass version ships in a box about 14 by 13.7 by 13.5 inches at around 9 pounds, and the Nickel version in a box about 13.7 by 11.5 by 8.3 inches at around 10 pounds, so one person can carry either in.
No tools are needed. The shade's center ring fits over the socket and a threaded ring screws down to hold it, then you screw in the included bulb. Plan on under 5 minutes.
One Arden works on a desk or console. On a pair of nightstands, two give each side its own reading light and charging port, and you can match finishes or mix Brass and Nickel for a less formal look.
The Arden USB Table Lamp is covered by a 5 year warranty and is UL Listed, with US based customer service.
