Libra Table Lamp

The Libra is metal through the base, stem and arm, finished in one color from end to end, with a slim lit bar at the tip. The all-metal body is what gives it the clean, minimal look and keeps the arm thin enough to disappear against a desk.

No. The Libra has no USB port or built-in outlet. Its features are the light and the shape: a touch control that sets both brightness and the warmth of the light, and a profile slim enough that it takes almost no room on a desk, which is the point of the design.

Yes. The touch control dims the Libra and also changes the color of the light from warm to cool, with no smart bulb needed. That makes it one of the few lamps in the range that adjusts both brightness and tone from the lamp itself.

Yes. The arm pivots, so you can swing the lit bar over a keyboard, a book or off to the side. The bar sends its light downward, which keeps the glare out of your eyes while lighting the surface.

No bulb to buy or fit. The Libra uses a built-in LED, so the light source is part of the lamp. Built-in LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of hours, which is years of daily use, and the lamp is covered by a 5 year warranty.

Four: Black, Brass, Satin Nickel and Green. For the same design at floor lamp height, see the Libra Floor Lamp.

The Libra is minimal and modern, built for desks more than side tables. It suits home offices, studies and bedside tables where you read, and it fits in a room that already has clean lines rather than one full of pattern.

The Libra stands about 23.6 inches tall and reaches about 20 inches across, so it is a full desk lamp rather than a small accent: plan for roughly the height of two stacked laptops standing on end. The footprint is narrow at under 8 inches deep, so it sits at the back of a desk without taking the working area.

The Libra ships in a 24 by 10.5 by 10.3 inch carton at 6.3 lbs. It is a long box because the arm ships in one piece, but it is light and one person can carry it in easily.

Very little to do: the arm seats into the base and the lamp plugs in. No tools, about 5 minutes.

One Libra covers a desk. The pattern worth knowing is pairing the table version with the floor version in the same finish, one on the desk and one beside the chair, so a home office is lit at both heights without a second style in the room.

The Libra is covered by a 5 year warranty and is UL Listed, with US based customer service.
