Beautiful lamp!
We bought this lamp a couple weeks ago and just love it. It has beautiful style and it illuminates the entire room but not in a glaring way. I love the step button to turn it on and off also.

The Oren has a cylinder base of wood in a walnut finish, a slim black metal stem, and a cream fabric shade: a cotton drum, or a pleated version. The wood base makes up most of the lamp's weight.
No, the Oren is fixed: the height and shade do not adjust. Its feature is the build, a solid wood base in a walnut finish under a wide fabric shade, plus a foot switch on its 6 foot cord so you can turn it on without reaching under the shade.
Not from the lamp: the foot switch is on/off. It takes a standard bulb, so fitting a dimmable smart bulb adds dimming and voice or app control, and it also works with a smart plug for on/off.
No. The open-top fabric shade sends light mostly up toward the ceiling and down toward the floor, with a soft glow through the fabric. That makes it an ambient light for a room rather than a focused reading beam.
Yes, a 9 watt, 800 lumen, 3000K warm white LED bulb is included, about the output of a 60 watt incandescent. It is a standard A19 bulb with an E26 base, so replacements are easy to find.
One base finish, wood in a walnut finish with a black stem, and two shade styles: a smooth cotton drum or a pleated shade. For more lamps with natural wood, browse the Wooden Floor Lamps collection.
The Oren is midcentury modern with a Japandi calm: warm wood, a thin dark stem and a soft fabric shade. It suits living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners with natural materials, and the pleated shade adds texture to a softer, more classic room.
The Oren stands about 60 inches tall, or 5 feet, a few inches shorter than the average woman (about 5'4") and about 9 inches shorter than the average man (about 5'9"). The shade is about 17 inches across, and the wood base is a 5.5 inch wide cylinder about 13 inches tall.
No, it is not oversized. The Oren ships in a flat carton about 17.5 by 17.5 by 8 inches weighing about 12 lbs, light enough for one person to carry in.
There are a few steps, all by hand. The stem sections screw together and into the base, then the shade is put together (the drum's fabric clips onto two wire rings; the pleated fabric folds over its frame), fitted on the shade support at the top and secured with the small cap, and the bulb screws in. Allow about 15 to 20 minutes.
The Oliver Table Lamp shares the same walnut-finished wood and cream fabric shade, so it matches the Oren on a side table or nightstand. For another wood-column table lamp, see the Koa Table Lamp.
The Oren Floor Lamp is covered by a 5 year warranty and is UL Listed, with US based customer service.
