FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

Ren has a ceramic body. At 6.3 inches wide and 2.5 lbs on the specs sheet, it is compact and light enough to be picked up and moved around several times a day.

Yes, Ren is fully cordless and runs on a rechargeable battery rated for up to 12 hours per charge. It recharges over a short charging cord, so you can charge it from a wall adapter, laptop, or power bank. There is no outlet needed where you use it.

Yes. Ren has touch dimming built into the lamp, so you can adjust brightness directly without a smart bulb or separate dimmer.

No. Ren is a small ambient lamp that glows in every direction rather than throwing a beam, so you aim it by where you place it, not by adjusting the shade.

Ren comes with its LED light source included, rated 2.5 watts and 250 lumens at a warm 2700K, so there is nothing to buy before you use it. It is covered by the lamp's 5 year warranty.

Ren comes in three colors: Cream, Black, and Red. All three are the same size, and mixing colors works as well as matching.

Ren is a small, modern portable lamp. Because it is cordless it goes where wired lamps cannot: bookshelves, accent nooks, fireplace mantels, bedside tables, patio tables, balconies, and dining spaces, anywhere a soft warm glow works as decor without hunting for an outlet.

Ren is small: 6.3 inches wide and 7.87 inches tall, close to the size of a large mug. It is an accent and mood light, not a lamp that lights a whole room.

No, Ren is not oversized. It ships in a single carton measuring 11.1 by 7.5 by 7.3 inches at 2.45 lbs.

None. Ren comes fully assembled. Give it a full charge when it arrives, then take it wherever you want light.

A pair is a common choice for a nightstand set on either side of a bed. Since Ren comes in three colors, mixing works as well as matching, and two units clear the $99 free shipping threshold.

Ren is covered by a 5 year warranty, including the battery and integrated LED, is UL Listed, and its battery carries UN 38.3 certification, with US based customer service.
