This lamp is exactly how I wanted it! This is my second purchase with Brightech and every time they exceed my expectations with lamps that are easy to assemble, elegant, modern and with a great price point. I would strongly recommend purchasing this lamp, for the living room or the bedroom.
The lamp looks nice from across the room, and the light is warm and soft, but the quality of the materials was far lower than I expected based on my Sky Floor Lamps from Brightech. The wood was chipped in some places when I opened the box, and the stickers that label each piece for assembly leave a terrible sticky goop (and trying to remove the goop removed the wood stain). After trying this with one sticker I left the rest on, but seeing "A1", "C2", "C3" etc. on the legs of the lamp really makes it look low quality. Why would the labels not be more easily and cleanly removable?
Really simple to put together, absolutely beautiful in real life—has three settings for brighter light. My mom is going to buy another of this same lamp after seeing mine! I went looking for a tall living room lamp after the Ikea near me didn’t have the one I wanted, and found Bright Tech—this lamp is EVEN BETTER.
We are really pleased with the lamp - both style and construction are beyond our expectations. The shade was also better constructed than expected - it went together nicely and looks not at all like a flat-pack shade once assembled. The light quality of the supplied 3-way bulb was quite nice; unfortunately the bulb malfunctioned after only about a week of using the lamp. We have used it for about a week with a replacement halogen bulb single output bulb with no issues - hopefully it was just a QC issue with the bulb supplied by the manufacturer and we'll have no further electrical problems. Barring that, it is 5/5 for us.
So cute. I love it. It’s a good height so doesn’t look too small or cheap. When it came and I had to build the lampshade I was a little nervous how it would luck but it’s actually great. The cord is also a really nice brown to match the wood. I cheaply taped it to the back of one of the legs to hide it because I didn’t like it hanging in the middle. Scotch tape did the job and you don’t even see it. It’s also a great price point but the free returns is what sold me. I hate shopping online but this was a great find!
The lamp arrived as expected and was accurately depicted in the pictures. The only bummer, and reason for the 4 stars, was that the light bulb provided with the lamp burnt out less than 24 hours after we installed it.
I had been eyeing a very similar lamp on another popular furniture website for three times the cost and then somehow stumbled upon brightech, so happy I did! Arrived fast, great quality, easy to put together and looks gorgeous in my living room. They even included a light bulb. Incredibly happy and will definitely be using them for all my lighting services in the future. Highly recommend!
Easy to assemble, great amount of light. Goes with everything. The cord does hang down the middle but it’s easy to Run it along one of the legs. I want to buy another!!
Love the lamp. It goes well with my decor. Took me a while to assemble, but that may be on me. I wonder about the sturdiness of the shade, but so far, so good.
This lamp is even cuter and classier in real life than it is in the photos. Plus, it was super easy to put together. I love it!
Look at where the shade attaches. It’s too high and looks bad! It should sit much lower.
We love it! Gorgeous style. It really compliments our mid century modern decor.
Excellent looking lamp on our pine floors, same stain color. Advice on getting lamp shade unit tight to stand. Also an accessory to hold cord straight down one of the legs would be great. Any ideas to do that would be appreciated.
We really like this lamp. It seems well made, was easy to assemble, and casts lovely light. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the photos don’t show that the cord hangs from the light socket down the middle of the legs. This is distracting to the overall look. Designers should have at least provided some type of clips so you could run it along one of the legs.
Bought the first Eden Floor Lamp more than a year ago. The switch stopped working less than one year later. It was impossible to turn the lamp on, as as the switch was very tight & wouldn't move. Brightech replaced the whole lamp, as they didn't have replacement switches in stock. Upon arrival, the new switch didn't work in the middle position, as the switch was very temperamental. I live with it on either low or high, but it's difficult to get it in the high position of the 3-way bulb.
Photo is deceiving. The cord runs down the center of the lamp from the light bulb. Lamp shade is wobbly. Overall, not satisfied.
Very stylish, well conceived, and high quality. Would recommend.
I wanted to love this so badly. From afar, it looks great. Up close, wood is super cheap.. the stickers that come on it for assembly purposes do not come off easily, & peel off the color… i had to sharpie in where the black was peeled off. The cord is a nuisance, sticks out way too far so it looks tacky. The light switch wiggles up & down so it makes the light bulb flicker when touched. For the price, i absolutely do not recommend.
I bought the Eden lamp recently. As another reviewer mentioned, the quality of the parts is not great. The wood was chipped in places. They advertise the product as Smart Home compatible but you need a smart plug (which is fine but they should make that clear) and that doesn't mean that the product is built for use with Google Home, Alexa, etc. Otherwise the lamp looks good in a corner but don't expect too much.
Quite happy with it, the only issue I have is that the inside of the shade looks a bit cheap, the metal rim and little plastic snaps are visible if you are standing and they aren't especially attractive. Otherwise it's elegant, easy to assemble, the tripod is wide enough to be sturdy but not so wide as to take up excessive space, 3 levels of brightness . . .
Customers love to share how they've worked Brightech pieces into their homes. Here are some of our favorite real-world setups.
Eden is made of wood: a three-leg wood tripod base with a fabric drum shade. Both colorways share the same wood construction and differ only in the finish, a natural wood varnish on Brown and a black varnish on Black.
Eden's standout feature is its included 3 way dimmable bulb: the rotary switch at the socket steps it through three brightness levels. The three-leg wood tripod also gives it a wider, steadier footprint than a single-pole floor lamp.
Yes, in three steps. Eden comes with a 3 way dimmable bulb, and the rotary switch at the socket clicks through low, medium and high. For app or voice control, plug it into a smart outlet.
No. Eden has a drum shade, which sends most of the light up toward the ceiling and down toward the floor, while the fabric softens what comes through the sides into an ambient glow. The tripod legs are fixed once assembled, so you aim Eden by where you place it.
Yes. Eden comes with a 3 way dimmable LED bulb that steps through 6, 8 and 16 watts, reaching up to 1600 lumens at 3000K on its brightest setting. It is a standard A19 bulb on an E26 base, so replacements are easy to find; choose a 3 way bulb to keep all three brightness levels.
Eden comes in two: Brown, with a natural wood finish, and Black, with a black finish on the same wood tripod for a darker, moodier look. Both are the same size.
Eden is a modern tripod floor lamp that reads natural and organic in wood, or dark and moody in black. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, and reading corners, especially where a wide, stable base matters more than a slim footprint.
Eden stands 60 inches tall, about 5 feet, a few inches shorter than the average woman (about 5'4"). The tripod legs spread to about 18 by 21 inches at the base, so plan for that full spread of floor space, not just the pole's footprint.
No, Eden is not oversized. It ships in a flat carton measuring 18.7 by 17.72 by 3.74 inches at 7.72 lbs, light enough for one person to carry in.
Assembly is required: the three tripod legs attach to the body and the shade sets on top. Expect a few minutes with the included hardware.
One Eden works well as a single reading-corner lamp. For a symmetrical living room layout, such as flanking a sofa, a matching pair in the same finish reads more deliberate, and two units clear the $99 free shipping threshold.
Eden is covered by a 5 year warranty and is UL Listed, with US based customer service.
