Ambience Pro string lights use a heavy-duty weatherproof cable built with Brightech's WeatherTite technology, fitted with shatterproof plastic S14 bulbs rather than glass. That combination is what lets them stay up outdoors year-round instead of coming down each season.
Ambience Pro strands are plug-in, UL listed, and weatherproof, with sockets spaced 3 feet apart. The 24 foot strand carries 7 sockets and the 48 foot strand carries 15. The bulbs are LED at 2 watts each, so a full strand draws a fraction of what incandescent Edison strands pull.
The strands are not dimmable on their own and each color temperature is fixed, so choose it at purchase: Ambience Pro comes in Neutral White, Warm White, and Soft White. To dim them, run the strand through a compatible outdoor plug-in dimmer.
String lights are ambient rather than directional: each S14 bulb throws light in all directions. You aim them by how you hang them. Draped low over a table gives an intimate pool of light, while a higher zigzag across a yard spreads it evenly.
Every strand ships with its bulbs included: 7 bulbs on the 24 foot strand, 15 on the 48 foot. They are 2 watt S14 LED Edison-style bulbs with a standard screw base, and they are replaceable individually, so one failed bulb never means a new strand. Replacement bulbs are available through Brightech's Amazon storefront.
Two lengths, 24 foot and 48 foot, each in three light colors: Neutral White, Warm White, and Soft White. Warm White is the closest to traditional incandescent patio lighting.
Outdoors, over patios, decks, pergolas, backyards, and along fences, and indoors for cafes, event spaces, and bedrooms. Because they are weatherproof and UL listed, they suit permanent installation rather than seasonal-only use.
A 24 foot strand roughly spans a small patio or crosses a standard deck once. A 48 foot strand covers a typical backyard seating area or makes two passes over a patio table. Measure your run and add slack for the drape: a strand pulled taut looks shorter and reads far less inviting than one that swags.
In a small carton, not an oversized one. String lights are the exception on this list: the strand coils compactly and ships in a standard parcel box that fits in a mailbox area or on a doorstep.
There is minimal assembly. Glass bulbs ship separately and need to be screwed into the sockets by hand; plastic bulbs typically ship already screwed in. The strand then plugs into a standard outlet. The real work is hanging it, and the strands are built with reinforced hang points for exactly that.
Two things. Replacement bulbs, which aren't yet in the website's spare parts collection but are available through Brightech's Amazon storefront, so a single burnout never leaves a gap in the run. And a second strand: most patios need more length than people first estimate, and two 48 foot strands cover a full backyard with the drape you actually want.
Ambience Pro plug-in string lights are covered by a 5 year warranty and are UL Listed, with US based customer service.
