Frequently Asked Questions.
The strand uses rubber and metal construction with brass detailing, built to stay outside, with Edison-style LED filament bulbs.
The strand is powered entirely by its built-in solar panel, so it needs no outlet, extension cord, or wiring. It turns on automatically at dusk and charges through daylight, making it suited to fences, gazebos, and far corners of a yard with no power access.
No. The strand is not dimmable and the bulbs are fixed at a warm 2700K, a candle-like tone that matches the vintage Edison look.
The bulbs are omnidirectional, so you aim the strand by how you hang it. The one placement that matters is the solar panel: it needs several hours of direct sun to keep the lights running through the evening, so mount it clear of shade.
The strand ships with 12 LED filament bulbs included, rated 1 watt each at 2700K in a classic Edison shape, and they are replaceable individually rather than sealed in.
One: a 28 foot strand with brass detailing. There is no color or length option on this listing.
Outdoors, specifically where power is not available: fences, gazebos, detached patios, and party spaces where you want light running from dusk until the gathering ends without an extension cord in sight.
The 28 foot strand suits a medium patio, a single fence run, or a small backyard gathering space. Leave slack for the drape rather than pulling it taut, and remember the bulbs run at 1 watt each, so they read as warm ambient glow rather than task lighting.
In a standard parcel box, not an oversized item. The strand ships in a single carton measuring 8.6 by 8.25 by 4.8 inches at 2.86 lbs.
No assembly beyond hanging. Screw in the bulbs, hang the strand, and site the solar panel where it gets direct sun. Allow a full day of charging before judging the first night's runtime.
Spare bulbs are worth having on hand, so a single burnout never leaves a gap in the run. Brightech sells replacements through its Amazon storefront rather than on brightech.com.
Glow Solar String Lights are covered by a 2 year warranty and are UL Listed, with US based customer service.
